Fraudulent emails

We have recently become aware of a number of fraudulent emails claiming to be from Travelex relating to payment for goods or services. These emails use Travelex branding and can look very realistic. Travelex does not provide any online payment services, and no escrow funds facilities. If you receive notification that Travelex is holding funds for an item that you are selling, and that you can safely despatch the goods, please disregard it. The sender may be faking a payment notification to you in an attempt to defraud you for goods or services. Do not dispatch your goods until you have received payment in full from the buyer.

We take such matters very seriously. If you receive an email which purports to be from Travelex and you have reason to suspect it to be fraudulent, please send it to emailsecurity@travelex.com and we will investigate it.
